Privacy Policy — Değerine

1. Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed for users of the Değerine mobile application ("App", "Değerine"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Data We Collect

Account data: Email address, password (stored hashed/encrypted), full name; optionally phone number and address. For business/dealer accounts, company name and description. If you upload a profile photo (avatar), that image is also stored.

Verification and password data: Email verification codes and password reset codes, sent via our email service provider (Resend).

Notification data: A Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push notification token is collected from your device to enable push notifications.

Listing content: Photos, vehicle details, and pricing information for listings you create are stored on our servers.

AI vehicle analysis data: When you use the AI Valuation feature, the vehicle photos you upload along with brand, model, year, mileage, fuel/transmission type, damage status, and damaged parts information are sent to a third-party AI service provider, Google Gemini (Google Generative AI), for analysis. This data is also evaluated together with publicly available comparable listing data compiled from arabam.com.

Important: photos and vehicle details you upload for the AI Valuation feature are sent to Google's AI service for analysis. Processing of this data is also subject to Google's own privacy and data-processing terms.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Değerine does not request location permissions and does not use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics tracking SDKs (e.g. ad networks, marketing analytics).

4. How We Use Your Data

Creating, verifying, and managing your account
Publishing and displaying your listings
Generating AI-powered vehicle valuation results
Providing messaging and offer features
Sending new message/offer notifications
Maintaining service security and preventing fraud

5. Third-Party Service Providers

Your data is shared, to a limited extent, with the following third-party providers necessary to operate the service:

Google Gemini (Generative AI): processing photos and vehicle data for AI valuation analysis
Firebase (Google): push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
Resend: delivery of verification and password reset emails
arabam.com: used solely as a source of publicly available comparable pricing data; your personal data is never sent to this source

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, follow the steps on our Delete Account page.

7. Data Security

Your password is stored irreversibly hashed; account access is protected by JWT-based authentication. We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data; however, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to learn whether your data is being processed, request information about it, and request correction or deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at eren@degerine.com.tr.

9. Children's Privacy

Değerine is not directed at users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page.
